How many of the Dems out there forget Clinton signed off on NAFTA ? Is Liberalism really a mental disorder?. By the way Taft blocked ccw as long as he could. I know Strickland at lease gave his support! But the Commi-Dems otherwise have screwed up badly!

At one time, there was a place for unions.. before we had child labor laws, before OSHA, Affirmative Action EPA,etc. But times have changed for the better, and there are so many non-union companies who actually pay better, treat their employees better….because they don’t have unions. They’re able to be more flexible and meet their customers needs faster. Unions are rigid, unflexible, stand in the way of progress. Our education system is in shambles due to tenure; our states are going bankrupt because they can’t afford the extravagant pension packages and benefit that public unions demanded. Our entire country is being affected, between manufacturing outsourcing jobs; our schools falling behind; our states unable to pay for public employees’ pensions and benefits.

Yes, I’m voting for Kasich. I’ve worked in companies with unions and I know that Unions are the Reason jobs get outsourced; their ridiculous pension and cadillac health benefits; unflexible work rules, etc. And I know for a fact that many workers don’t have a choice to belong to a union, they’re Conservative, but their union dues are spent on Liberal candidates. If you think your job is safe because you have a union, you’re wrong, wrong, wrong.

The Republicans have mounted a very successful campaign on turning the troubles this country is in, which are a direct result of them sending jobs over seas into the blame game like the deficit. A war started on a lie at a cost of 700 billion and counting. After Kasich turns this state into a right to work state and gets rid of the rest of the State employees which will be replaced by 7 dollar an hour workers. Jobs, but not jobs that will aid in the recovery the state needs.

to Danielle The GOP screwed it up in 8 yrs. On the national level, they came in with a $250 Billion surplus and turned it into a trillion $ deficit under Bush’s tax cuts and 2 wars. The relentless and reckless deregulation let wall street blow up and wreck the economy which bled down and hurt the state and local governments through plant and business closings and the resultant loss of jobs and tax revenue. To Paul; Kasich was kicked out of government once already, and you want him back??

John Kasich is the next Bob Taft and all these voters are having orgasms at the thought of having a Bob Taft clone in the statehouse.

It ABSOLUTELY is the responsibility of high level politicians to have a working relationship with business..so that you aren’t “Surprised” when they decide to UP and Leave the State! We Absolutely MUST hold our politicians responsible! Give me a break!? The state and city government Depends on these businesses for taxes to pay everything… if people don’t have jobs, they’re not paying taxes. Use your Head, think about it. Hold Strickland responsible. Vote for Kasich!

Don’t buy the pure spin put out by the republicans at the national level - all lost jobs are the fault of dems, etc. - they had 8 years to fix it and the dems are supposed to turn it around in 2? Makes no sense to me..Glad to see the polls changing rapidly in Strickland’s favor. He isn’t perfect but I would rather keep him.

How could people be so stupid? Mr. Strickland didin’t “Lose” NCR, they left-with little or no warning to either Dayton or Columbus. Where did they go? to Georgia, a right to work, non union state. All you people who think Kasich will turn things around, think twice. He’ll turn Ohio into another right to work, non union state faster than you can say AFL. Stricklandmay have made mistakes, who doesn’t? But he’s a better choice than Kaisich, who will really wreck this state by cutting everythign he can, excpet bonusus to his buddies form wall street, who he say he will bring in to “run” the State. Instead oflistening to the bings, bongs and bytes, engage your brain before you vote and choose wisely- or pay the price for the next four years.

I’m a sportsman and I don’t think Strickland has any interest whatsoever in hunting, fishing or anyone who does.

I have met Roger Strickland in the past campaign. He is the “real deal” as far as hunting goes. He is a true sportsman and a fun guy.
