Santa flight canceled

Crummy winter weather led to the cancellation of a plan for Santa and Mrs. Claus to arrive on the Ohio Statehouse lawn via a helicopter on Wednesday evening.

Instead, Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive via a mobile intensive care unit ambulance, escorted by an Ohio Highway Patrol cruiser.

Santa is scheduled to participate in the annual holiday tree lighting ceremony at the Statehouse.
