Ken Blackwell endorses Rick Perry for president
Ken Blackwell, former Ohio secretary of state and treasurer, had endorsed Republican Texas Gov. Rick Perry for president, Perry’s campaign announced Wednesday.
“I am proud to endorse Gov. Rick Perry,” Blackwell said on Perry’s campaign Web site. “Gov. Perry’s successful record of job creation shows that he has the skill, experience and ideas necessary to get our nation working again.”
Perry said Blackwell, unsuccessful candidate for Ohio governor in 2006, “has been a strong conservative leader.”
“His support will be instrumental to the campaign and I look forward to partnering with him as I travel the nation to share my vision to get America working again,” Perry said.

Blackwell is a member of the “always wrong” contingent of the republican party, and so I take this statement to mean that Perry is toast.

No one cares what Ken Blackwell thinks anymore. No one.

That just proves it to me: Ken Blackwell is nuttier than a peanut stand if he endorses The Seceder for president.

Hey Asa Bartwell, why don’t you & Mr. Blackwell move to Texas! You can get one of those great minimum-wage jobs with no health insurance Rick Perry created - sounds like paradise, doesn’t it?

Actually Asa, though they are in the minority, over 50,000 Palestinians are Christian. Obama’s policy onn Isreal is the same as Bush Jr. policy on Isreal, the Two State Solution. Most of the rest of the world supports this policy, including the Pope.

Really Jim, is that all you can do is call names? Your reputation as one who is mentally unable to put forth a factual, conhesive argument or comment is intact.

Asa - really? Are you as nuts as your post indicates? So, Muslims, Buddists, Jews, and all others who claim other beliefs (or none at all) aren’t welcome? You should pull your head out of your 17th century butt and come into the 21st! Idiot!

Why am I not surprised? Ken supports Perry’s “job creation”? What job creation? Oh, he’s talking about all those minimum wage or less than jobs in Texas. Well if he thinks that’s such a great deal why doesn’t let his son take one? I would venture to guess that good ole Ken doesn’t have any problem with the hunting lodge named N-head or all the cronyism in Texas government either. Ken lost his election by a landslide so I seriously doubt if many Ohioans really care who he endorses.

I think it is a little early to pick a candidate. That said, I think it is great that Mr. Blackwell supports a conservative. We must see that this is Obama’s last term and get him out of that White House. He seems more like an enemy to America. Making comments about going around Congress. His obvious support of the Muslim Cult is anti-American to me. I still see America as a Christian Nation and I stand firmly against Islam. Jesus Christ is the only true Lord. Muslims have the freedom to worship in their Mosques that should be few and far between. OBama’s attitude toward Israel is pathetic. The Palestinians are Muslim and could blend in with any of the mid east countries with plenty of land. My prayer is that they will not succeed in taking any part of Israel. Obama seems anti-American. He and George Soros, along with the Arab League are up to no good and I have no trust. You are out in 2012 Obama!

I’m sure he’ll be as helpful to Perry’s campaign as he was to Steve Forbes’ campaign.

Really Ken? You’re a bigger idiot than I thought you were.
