Mike Turner endorses Romney
U.S. Rep. Mike Turner on Tuesday endorsed Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney.
“Ohio will be an important state in this upcoming election. I look forward to working with Congressman Turner as I campaign across the country to grow the economy and create jobs,” Romney said in a written statement issued by his campaign.
“As a businessman, he understands how to get Americans back to work. President Obama’s ineffective leadership continues to hurt the prospects of Ohioans and citizens across the country. His failed policies have burdened the next generation with trillions of dollars of debt, and that is a future we simply cannot afford,” Turner said in the same press release. “As his record clearly shows, Mitt Romney is the leader that our economy needs to restore growth, that our party needs to defeat President Obama in 2012, and that our country needs to get back on track.”

As long as we get someone who is a moderate that will compromise unlike the tea party screw-ups who have stopped all production in Washington. They have to GO! And as Warren Buffet says “no more Bush tax cuts for millionaires!”

I don’t think I have seen Mr. Turner inside of the Dayton city limits in many years. I am not sure he knows how to get here from Centerville. Since he voted in lock step with George W for eight years, and has not supported any measures by this administration to try to pull us out of this financial mess, I do not have any confidence in this man. I cannot bring myself to vote for any of these disingenuous, self serving Republicans. Where are our real leaders?

I don’t suppose Mr. Turner has ever considered the painful truth. It is becoming quite clear that this country has passed the point of “growing” it’s way out of the debt. I’ve always been against big government liberal democrats, now I’m equally against big government conservative Republicans. Mike has aligned himself with the latter.

Well, Turner certainly is not a conservative, and now, thanks to redistricting, I am in his district. I wish there was a strong conservative running against him.

Let’s put someone in office who looks good but is unqualified, has absolutely no practical business experience, and has never held a job in the private sector. Oh…I forgot that’s what we have now!!! Perhaps that’s one of the many reasons the country is in trouble?!?! I’m sorry people but when it comes to QUALIFICATIONS, the bar can’t get any lower than it is now. Mr. Obama’s resume 3 years ago would barely qualify him to manage a Mickey D’s…but he’s now running our country?!?! Good Lord…half the people reading this lousy blog are more qualified to be President. And I’m an educated Independent…not a lap dog for EITHER side. Give me a halfway respectable alternative and I will vote for that person!

There’s something disingenuous about Romney that I don’t like. He’s like a pull toy doll, the way he recites his lines. Newts the smartest one in the pack, but he has too much baggage to be taken seriously. So it Looks like that commie, socialist, fascist, Muslim, non American, anti American, weak on terror, over regulating, tax hiking, food stamp giving President Obama will be getting my vote. Obama 2012!

Mike, I have know you and the Turner family since you were six years old. I supported you as mayor of Dayton and I supported you as a candidate for congress. You now are no better than the rest of the mis representatives that you work with in Washington. I thought you were Mr. Smith going to Washington

The primary season has just begun and some people believe the outcome is certain. I am not counting out Gingrich. I think he is the only canidate that can beat Obama. Sure he has some baggage and has admitted his faults. At least he has the resume to back up his thoughts and is quite obviously the smartest of the group. All he need do is concentrate on Obamas failed policies and out right lies.

One has to wonder whether there is any coincidence that the day after Jon Huntsman withdrew, Rep. Turner endorses Mitt Romney. It is ridiculous that by the time Ohioans vote, Mitt Romney will be assured the nomination.I’m crossing over in the primary to vote for David Esrati.

Pat McC, You really should not comment about another’s spelling and punctuation mistakes if you do not understand subject/verb agreement. It negates the point you are trying to make.

Romney vs Obama. Heads you win, tails I lose. That about describes the election. No wonder people do not vote! I suggest Romney pursue the broken promises of the last election. I suggest we look at voting records on all of our representatives rather than the promises made now that they need something from us. But that would mean some poor reporter would actually have to do homework on what has been voted on in the last 3 years. When push comes to shove, we need to know the fruits of their voting rather than the ability to tell people what they want to hear.

It’s the Republican-controlled House Of Representatives(especially the Tea Party Wing and shills like Rep. Turner)that has been willing to be the problem time after time for the last two years—-willing to do whatever it takes to make President Obama look bad not matter what instead of doing what’s best for this country.

Very sorry to hear that Mike is offering his support for “more of the same” in Mitt Romney. Big money corporate interests to the hilt. How does Obama get defeated unless you offer a true alternative?

FLIP FLOP. I will vote for Obama if Mit is my other choice. Obama has more experiance at being Prez. My republican team is full of wind. Romny changes with the wind. I will keep my Muslim prez over on of the nuts that follow Joe Smith.
