Will Paula stay or Go? American Idol Update How many million reasons do you need.
Paula Abdul, one of the most emotional judges on reality TV may have millions of reasons to stick around a few more seasons.
The last few months have been a little on the let’s say… challenging side, Abdul may be in line for millions if she’s successful negotiating a new contract with FOX.
Radareonline.com is reporting a source close to the negotiations thinks Abdul could double her current $5 to $7 million agreement.
“Realistically, Paula knows she couldn’t get anywhere near the $30 million a year that Simon (Cowell) makes… But she thinks she’s worth almost twice what she’s making now and Fox appears to agree. They definitely want her back.”
So let’s see… I think I could act as crazy as Paula does… practice those positive affirmations she’s always giving the American Idol wannabes… I think the dress thing would be an issue… regardless, I’d be willing to work for a few hundred thousand… I waiting by the phone.

TweetPaula Begged American Idol producers to keep stalker away
In an interview on Barbara Live! with Barbara Walters on Sirius XM Monday night, Paula Abdul said, “This girl is a stalker of mine. Please do not let her in. Everyone knew. I was shaking.”
However, despite her pleas, Paula Goodspeed, who “had been writing disturbing letters for 17 years, almost 18 years” including naked photos and letters threatening “bodily harm,” was ushered in by the producers.
In early November, Goodspeed was found dead outside Adbul’s home. People magazine is reporting that since the apparent suicide outside her California home, Abdul has not slept in the house.
Abdul said of the producers, it must have been “fun for them to cause me stress.”
Goodspeed, a self-proclaimed super-fan kept showing up at the audition and finally followed Abdul home. Abdul went on to say “we had restraining orders at times.”
Various media reports attempted to reach Fox, however so far no word from the producers of the show.
So why does she stay, Walters asked Adbul that question… her reply, “Well, I’m under contract.”
