A Race to the Finish - The Apprentice 4 Begins!
While the opening episode of “The Apprentice 4” provides the lure and attraction that has kept me glued to this series. Although, I really don’t quite understand the opening of this season and the need for a foot race…
Hmmm, a foot race in a business competition. While business leaders often use the analogy of a foot race to talk about business, rarely, if ever do they put their people to the test of running, lordy, lordy the liability.
Rumor had it that the Donald was actively involved in the selection of this cast. Comparing this cast to some of the other seasons one finds many, many, many beautiful people.
Here is where I think we should stop whatever we are doing, look around the offices/businesses we are working in, and take a good look at the people we work with… just a guess…but I don’t think too many of us are surround by the quotient of that many beautiful people in one place at one time - pretty and handsome maybe, not model gorgeous. Was this cast selected for their beauty or their brains? Let’s see… a Former Miss Oregon, a former dancer in a gentlemen’s club - allegedly…
I want to see real people duke it out - Maybe next season could be The Apprentice - The Real People (I want my cut if Mark Burnett chooses to use this)! This is not to say that this season won’t have my interest, because it will, I would just like to see REAL people fight to the finish!
More later…

Although I do agree that there is an over abundance of ‘pretty people’ this season on The Apprentice 4, don’t forget last season when they weren’t all ‘pretty people.’ Danny was very off the wall and not their usual stereotype. I just can’t believe they let the antagonist of the group, Melissa, go. She would have brought so much drama to the (board room) table this season. She would have made a great sequel to Omarosa and last season’s Kristen. Don’t you think?
