‘Dance’ judges even meaner than Simon Cowell?

I think these judges can give Simon Cowell a run for his money. They were not just honest, but many times I thought they were horribly mean. Too bad. I don’t think that’s necessary.

It’s clear to me that chunky is okay on a show like American Idol, but clearly doesn’t work on this show.

Chicago saw some serious hip hop, but not too many made it through to Vegas.

Nick, the tapping half of the adorable couple who met at last year’s audition was spectacular and easily on his way to Vegas. Andrea, his other half, was not so lucky. I wonder if she took it as well as it appeared.

Knowlton, the car trunk steak salesman, was so funny and original and I thought it was obviously he could dance. I think the judges were extra cranky on this one. They should have at least had him stay for the choreography. I’m bummed.

Hip Hop dancer Timothy got lambasted by the judges. I didn’t think it was so horrible. It wasn’t at the level they needed for this show, but they were pretty harsh.

Duron saved the day for dance teacher’s reputations. At least for the judges. Finally one that can actually dance. His footwork was definitely amazing, but I didn’t see much else there.

Apparently everyone knows who Nigel Holt is, but no one bothered telling me. It kind of ticked me off that he was as good as he was. He was so arrogant that I wanted him to be awful and get pummeled by the judges, but he wasn’t too bad. As with last year though he choked on the choreography at the end of the evening.

Erika was pretty hot and most sexy with her mixture of moves. She’ll be fun to watch demonstrate her talent in other dance styles.

Angela, Angela. She was just awful but she will always be remembered. I felt so bad for her as she puked on stage…well, actually off the stage. I don’t have a strong stomach so I would have preferred they didn’t show as much as they did, but at least she’ll always be the girl who puked.

Ooohhhh, next week 120 hopeful dancers go to Vegas for a week of physical and emotional torment. Yeah, here’s where it gets really fun! The previews promise some interesting drama as well.

See ya on stage next Wednesday!

The judges suck on this show…the women’s laugh is so annoying I want to put her on mute! The good and bad dancing is interesting to watch. I wasn’t impressed with Erika, she just twirled around the stage throwing her hair around. Not creative. Knowlton looked like he was drunk at keg party. The only person I liked was the tap dancer…his girlfriend wasn’t good though.

I thought the judges were not only harsh, but down right rude. Most of the time they were laughing all the way through. And the woman judge’s laugh is TOTALLY annoying. I’m not that thrilled with the show and not really sure if am that into dance that I’ll continue to watch. I will say this though….the group of young men that came together that did the hip-hop, techno whatever style of dancing, were totally off the hook. They were awesome! And the one young man who did the flip and then walked in the air upside down was the bomb (gosh, I sound like Randy Jackson, dawg!)
