Surprise, surprise! Emmitt takes the prize on ‘Dancing with the Stars!’
No kidding! I would have bet right up to 10 seconds ago that Mario was going to take home the disco ball but it looks like Emmitt Smith pulled in the most fan loyalty. In fact, in our DaytonDailyNews.com poll, our fans predicted this outcome with two to one favoring Emmitt. Wow. How fun this season has been!
Now I don’t want to forget the 56 minutes prior to announcing the winner. There was some boring filler stuff but overall I really enjoyed seeing all the dancers come back. I’m seriously considering buying a ticket to the Dancing with the Stars tour.
It is so apparent how close the celebrities and their professional dance partners get. Beside the tears, you can see real emotion in most of their eyes. And for single folks, it would seem impossible not to fall in love with a well matched partner. In fact, I’m wondering if we will soon read about Mario and Karina in the tabloids.
This was the first season of Dancing with the Stars that I’ve watched for the entire season and I really enjoyed it. How about you? For folks who have watched other seasons, how did it measure up? Disappointed or thrilled?

Both Mario and Emmitt were awesome, at first I went with Mario. Last night, I changed my mind, I voted for Emmitt on the poll on DDN. This is the first season I have watched and loved it. I even got my husband hooked, lol. First American Idol then this, what’s next? Congrats to all of them they did great!

Why wouldn’t he win not only did he dance good he was sexy in all of his dances! He is a strong Mindingo Man both he and his wife are blessed! I’m glad it’s over because it appear as though his partner was getting to touchie feelie with him considering he has a wife and the respect and boundaries are very important! No touching after the dance thank God!
