“Top Chef” helps with leftovers

Bravo TV’s “Top Chef” challenges its chefs to create something fabulous out of all sorts of ingredients and last week’s show (Nov 15) was no different.

The chefs were challenged to use the leftovers from a restaurant to create food offerings for a party for 60 people. The show’s website features the winning recipe for the week, and the recipe for this week was created by chefs Ilan Hall & Michael Midgley. The pair created Mushroom Paella & Fried Soft Shell Crab. You can find all of the recipes for this episode here.

The show this week sent two chefs, Josie & Marisa, packing their knives for their very odd leftover creation pairings of Pineapple Salad; Coconut Prickly Pear Soup; and Fennel, Apple and Citrus Salad.

To checkout the action, turn on BravoTV on Wednesday nights at 10 p.m.
