Who will the Donald fire tonight?
A new season of the apprentice brings about many changes, but are they good ones?
First, Caroline and George have been replaced. Donald’s daughter, Ivanka, will serve as his eyes and ears this season with some extra help from the winning project manager.
Second, the losing team will spend time in a tent, rather than in the mansion where the winning team will enjoy all the many extras.
Third, a new city. This season’s show was filmed in Los Angeles rather than in New York - Giving the show a fresh look.
Fourth, a new night. This season’s show will air on Sunday nights at 9p.m. rather than on Thursday. According to a story in Variety magazine, the first episode was watched by approximately 9 million viewers - its lowest debut yet.
So far this season just a few of the characters standout and the one I really wanted to shut up is Frank - I just can’t imagine working with him. He certainly has a lot of energy, but come on, could you really work him?
It’s really a little too early to get too invested in any of the characters. So, we’ll just wait and see what this week’s episode brings and see who hears the magic words, “you’re fired”.
