“Top Chef’s” caustic contestant clubbed in cranium
Most of the reality TV series have at least one contestant that everyone loves to hate. For many of us Marcel of Top Chef 2 is that character. Despite our disdain for this guy I’d like to think people would be able to deal with this without physical violence.
In an interview with Las Vegas Weekly, Marcel reveals he was hit by a bottle from an disgruntled fan of the show. After the assailant knew it was him - she flung a bottle at his head for which he required 30 stitches.
While I would agree that most of the time this guy is a pompous ass and could use a kick in the pants, clubbing him with a bottle went a little too far.
So, if you are thinking you’ve got what it takes to be in a reality TV show… you might want to give it another thought.

Marcel is the poster child of society today. The battle cry is “Whine, waaaaaaaa, waaaaaaaaaa!” My opinion is that it didn’t go far enough.
