Is Hugh Hefner Too Old for a reality TV show?
I’m not sure about you, but I have to question the idea of Hugh Hefner on a reality TV show. It’s sort of like imagining your grand father with the “The Girls Next Door.”
If I’ve done the math correctly Hugh will turn 81 in April and It would seem he should be slowing down just a tad. Sure, if he’s still got the charisma and whatever else (the little blue pill perhaps) it is that has been attracting women to him like bees to honey, then go for it… I just don’t think it should be taking up space on the TV.
The Web site for the show says it is in its third season, I can’t imagine how I missed the other two seasons.
Tonight (Mar 4) episode is called, “Mutiny on the Booty” where the girls (Their word not mine) design their own photo shoots for a Playboy pictorial. Since it is rated TV-14 I’m pretty sure the booty will remain covered at all times… or at least the Hef’s booty.
What do you think? Is the Hef too old for all this?

I’m a female and I absolutely LOVE this show. The girls are so cute and sweet and Hef does have something…although I agree he is too old for such young beauties, but they seem to have a real affection for the guy. Like he is a sweet old grandpa (that pays them an allowance to be his girlfriends). I think the “girlfriends” title is just for appearance, and I believe that only Holly is having sex with him, although I doubt it’s very often. I love the show and I would be there too if I could!

I grew up looking at Playboy and have always appreciated the beautiful women. But this show is God-awful. Who cares whether or not Hef is too old.? He should drop the whole thing ASAP

As B said, Hef only makes random appearances. The show is about his 3 live in girlfriends, one of whom wants to marry him and have his kids…. I watch on occasion for a good laugh at just how blonde these women are.

Actually, Hef doesn’t make much of an appearance in any of the eps. He really is grandpa sleeping in the corner of the living room during Christmas. His head cocked back, mouth wide open as he snores with no clue as to what is transpiring around him. Hef? Hef who? It’s all about the ladies.

Oh, it’s not the little blue pill that draws women to him like bees to honey, it’s the little green bills and he’s still got plenty of those.
