Who is Dayton’s “Top Chef”

I’m not exactly sure how this happened, but I seem to have turned in to a reality TV foodie junkie. What does that mean? I just can’t get enough of the compeition based reality TV food shows. Bravo’s “Top Chef” - “Next Food Nework Star”- “Iron Chef” - “Ace of Cakes” - “Throw Down with Bobby Flay” - “Diner Impossible.” although missing from my list is “Hell’s Kitchen” way too over the top for me.

Which got me to thinking… if a competion were held here in the Dayton area for the area’s top chef, who would it be?

Greg at the Blue Moon at one time would have topped the list, but alas he is gone(what is he up to anyone?). Then there is Pacchia, what are they doing now? It appears yet another remodel in the works?

So, I throw it out to y’all. Who has your vote for top chef locally?

Executive Chef Mary King, is by far Dayton’s Premier Chef. She is possessed by something that most of the chefs in Dayton lack…Integrity and Diversity. Diveristy not only in her establishemnt but also in the food that she prepares. She is truly Dayton’s Top Secret. Be sure to watch for her on the international scene in 2008!!!! She is going to stir up her gift in some of the most prominent establishments known worldwide.

I cast another vote for Wiley at The Meadowlark. I always struggle between ordering my favorites (which I crave and dream about) and one of the newer menu additions (which always sound incredibly tempting!).
