How can it be time for ‘Survivor’ already?
It seems like the last season of ‘Survivor’ just ended… is it really time for another season already? With all the new reality TV shows - is anyone else having trouble keeping up?
The premise for this season is interesting enough - super fans vs. fan favorites. But, will Survivor: Micronesia deliver? Several TV rumor sites, suggested that CBS was going to renew the show after this season. Perhaps that will depend on the ratings - although it’s going to be hard to tell with so little scripted programing coming on line anytime soon.
Where’s Richard Hatch… why wasn’t he on this season?
What do you think of the format for this season? Did you watch it? Will this format idea work?

I have watched survivor since the beginning, each season gets worse. This new one tops them all.They started out like gang busters with who will sleep with who? and the alliances being formed right from the start. Weems very scripted and I won’t be watching this one, not real enough.

Actually, Survivor is one of the few shows that my entire family sits & watched for just fun. We have never missed a season and don’t plan to. Come on…who doesn’t want to just have fun some nights?

I’m pretty sure Richard Hatch is in prison for tax evasion or some such stuff. Even if he’s out now, it would be pretty tough to have a convicted felon on…

I gave up on Survivor probably 6 seasons back. Which, given how quickly they crank these things out may have just been last June. Seriously, In the 9 years it’s been around they’ve managed to crank out 16 seasons. That’s just ridiculous.
