Dancing with the Stars - Week 2 - Dancing Update
WWCD = What will Cloris Do? I’ve been looking forward to seeing what this spunky octogenarian has instore for tonight’s (Sep 29) show! Eleven couples remain as week two of the show gets underway.
This week, the dancers will be dancing the Rumba and the Pasa Doble - A dance the stars learned in just four days.
Toni Braxton & Alec Maz
Tonight’s dance - The Ruma,
Nicely done. A good, solid performance.

Len Goodman - 8 - I was surprised how good that performance was.
Bruno Tonioli - 8 - I absolutely loved it!
Carrie Ann Inaba - 7 - You moved like you sing. There were two lifts. The lift police are in town.

I’m sure DeBeers is thrilled that that song always makes me think of diamonds… the dance was sparkling as well!

The cooking stopped heating up after Rocco took off his apron - Not a sizzling performance!

Bruno Tonioli - 5 - The stallion has run out of juice. It just didn’t happen.
Carrie Ann Inaba - 5 - What is lacking is musicality . you weren’t quite with the sway.

Tonight’s dance - Pasa Doble. Was it the costume or was she just a little too stiff? She seemed to dance like a board. Although, there was the flip.

Tonight’s dance - Pasa Doble. Cloris certainly made an effort to be a little more serious… I’m not sure if it work.

The one thing we learned tonight, is that the way to Cody’s heart is with chicken and Twinkies. In terms of the dancing, it seemed to me the show stopping performances were missing from tonight’s show.
I’d have to say it will most likely be Cloris Leachman and Corky who will be going home. Agree?

I’m not so sure. I imagine there are a lot of folks calling in for Cloris for who she is. I could see Rocco or Kim going home. Any of the three is fine with me. All have their “things” but none can dance! And yes, Misty was looking very stiff to me. She just lacks a natural grace.
