Lysol mop, built-in ovens among recalls
There were four products recalled Thursday, Jan. 21, by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission of which consumers should be aware.
Thermador Built-In Ovens have been recalled due to a fire hazard.
Reportedly, because the ovens can have gaps in the insulation where overheating can occur, when used in the self-cleaning mode they can cause nearby cabinets to catch fire.
For complete info, visit the CPSC site.
Lysol Steam Cleaning Mops also were recalled, these due to burn and laceration hazards.
According to the CPSC, hot water mixed with Lysol can forcefully spurt out and rupture the housing unit.
See the CPSC recall posting for complete information.
Horizon Fitness and LIVESTRONG Fitness Elliptical Trainers have been recalled because they pose a fall hazard.
The foot pedal on the elliptical trainer can become disengaged.
Check out the CPSC site for product numbers and contact information.
Pedrini Pro Chop Professional Multipurpose Choppers were recalled due to the laceration hazard they pose.
Pieces of the chopper’s metal blades can break off during use and fall into food being prepared in the chopper, according to the CPSC.
The CPSC has complete information on the chopper recall on its site.
