Kids Bowl Free program coming back for summer
The awesome Kids Bowl Free program will return next month for use this summer, offering kids two free games of bowling each day at select area bowling alleys.
How it works is parents go to the Kids Bowl Free Web site, choose a bowling alley and register their kids.
Area bowling alleys participating in the program include Poelking-Wilmington Lanes, 1403 Wilmington Ave. in Dayton; Poelking Lanes South, 8871 Kingsridge in Centerville; Poelking-Marian Lanes, 6170 Brandt Pike in Huber Heights; Poelking-Woodman Lanes, 3200 Woodman Drive in Kettering; and Poelking-Century Lanes, 3301 S. Dayton Lakeview Road in New Carlisle.
According to the site, each child registered can bowl two free games every day throughout the duration of the program. Each center has their own age restrictions, as well as any times the coupons are not valid during the day.
Another option in the program is the Family Pass, which was created to allow for adult family members to bowl with their kids.
The Family Pass is a one-time payment that starts at $24.95 and includes two games per family member, per day. The Family Pass covers up to four adults.
The Kids Bowl Free program starts May 10 and continues through Aug. 28.

“notadeal”: You’re so right. This “story” is an advertisement thinly disguised as news. I think DDN is also in the infomercial production business.

This is an unbelievable deal. These smart local businesses are trying to keep kids off of the streets, introduce them to a lifetime sport and yes hopefully they do become a lifetime customer. In the current economy it’s sure nice to see that not every business owner giving up.

Oh. My. Gosh. Do you people really have that much free time that you can complain about this? This was not a front page headline news story and never claimed to be news, thinly disguised or otherwise. Jill does articles INFORMING CONSUMERS ABOUT BARGAINS IN DAYTON. It is perfectly appropriate for her to write about this. Further, as a mom of 5 this is a GREAT DEAL! It costs nothing to join, the kids get some energy out, and I do support the business by paying for shoe rental and an occasional game or two for myself. Smart for Poelking, etc. to do this! Yes, it is marketing…that’s what businesses do!

I think it is great that businesses are doing this for kids. Some people are always negative no matter what the situation is.
