What happens to the losing candidates next month? Barack Obama and Sarah Palin both are hard at work preparing for their inevitable invitations to apperr on”Dancing With the Stars,” which is where all the used-to-be-famous people eventually wind up. Buckeyes are No. 1
It may not climb to the top of the football polls again this year, but Ohio State has repeated as the top school in the nation in at least one category: enrollment. For the third consecutive year, OSU has more students than any other school. Counting undergrads, grads and professional students, the total is 53,715 on the Columbus campus, an increase of two percent. They come from all 88 Ohio counties and all 50 states, plus DC, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and the Northern Mariana Islands. Trailing Ohio State, in order, are: Arizona State, Florida, Minnesota and Texas. — D.L. Stewart, Staff Writer
