Dayton “idiot” is front page news
In terms of recognition, it’s not like making the front page of the Dayton Daily News. But appearing on the front page of The New York Times ain’t bad. So props to Dayton native Joel Moss Levinson, who made Page 1 of that newspaper Tuesday, Oct. 28. Levinson, 28, was profiled for his creativity in earning more than $200,000 in cash and prizes by producing homemade corporate commercials. For a Klondike bar commercial he traveled to the Arctic and filmed himself; for an Israel advocacy group, he appeared dressed as a penguin. “It’s so great to have license to be an idiot,” he is quoted as saying in the story, a quip that the paper also lists as its Quotation of the Day. Mr. Levinson, as he’s known to The Times, is the son of Jim Levinson and DDN staff writer Meredith Moss. To read the full story go to:
