Rihanna might testify against Chris Brown
No shocker here.
Rihanna will testify against boyfriend and accused attacker Chris Brown if she has to, her attorney said.
Following Chris Brown’s court appearance Thursday, March 5, Donald Etra, told Entertainment Tonight that she’s is doing fine.
“If required to testify, she will testify,” Etra said.
Etra asked a judge not to prohibit Brown from contacting Rihanna while he faces felony charges of assaulting her. He said Rihanna was satisfied with a level one protection order.
Brown appeared in a Los Angeles court Thursday and was ordered not to “annoy, harass, molest, threaten or use force or violence against anyone.”
The R&B singer is charged with two felonies, assault and making criminal threats.
Brown was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 8, on a domestic violence charge. He was later released on bail.
The victim was reportedly 20-year-old pop princess Rihanna, Brown’s girlfriend.
The couple is apparently back together.
According to a search warrant posted on CNN.com, a text message from a woman Brown had sex with led to the vicious attack.
Brown allegedly tried to force Rihanna, who was wearing a seat belt, out of a car. He shoved her head against a window when that didn’t work.
A portion of the search warrant is below. Robyn F is reportedly Rihanna. Her full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty.
“Robyn F. turned to face Brown and he punched her in the left eye with his right hand. He then drove away in the vehicle and continued to punch her in the face with his right hand while steering the vehicle with his left hand. The assault caused Robyn F.’s mouth to fill with blood and blood to splatter all over her clothing and the interior of the vehicle.
“Brown looked at Robyn F. and stated, ‘I’m going to beat the s—t out of you when we get home! You wait and see!’”
The detective said she then used her cell phone to call her personal assistant, Jennifer Rosales, who did not answer.
“Robyn F. pretended to talk to her and stated, ‘I’m on my way home. Make sure the police are there when I get there.’
“After Robyn F. faked the call, Brown looked at her and stated, ‘You just did the stupidest thing ever! Now I’m really going to kill you!’
Brown, while driving, went on to headlock Rihanna, punch and bite her. At one point he choked her, the warrant says.
The singer was swollen and bruised. Her lip was split, her nose was bloody and she had contusions on both sides of her face. Rihanna had several bite marks on her arm and fingers.
Rihanna’s assistant received text message from Brown’s phone Feb. 17 in which he apologized for what he had done and said he would get help, the warrant says.
