Is Indiana’s gambling joke on Ohio?
From Kyle Nagel, Staff Writer
It was a confident ride up the escalator away from the Argosy Casino gaming area with a few extra dollars in the front pocket when an overheard conversation showed the other side of the coin.
Man: Awwww, my wife’s gonna kill me.
Woman: What happened?
Man: Jeez, a lost way more than I should have. Oh mannn.
Woman: How much?
Man: (Through pained grunts) Well, I knew I could only lose $400, but I went back to the ATM a few times and I lost about $3,000. I kept thinking I would win it back. Ouch.
On a side note, about 40 percent of the cars in the parking garage had Ohio license plates.
Indiana still laughs.

Same goes to any state with a casino. Be in Detroit or Indiana. You will find Car’s with OHIO on their plates. OF Course Indy is laughing at Ohio. We have had chances to have casino’s here, yet voters say NO. It is time for Ohio to keep the casino money here. Rising Sun, In, takes in enough money to keep that place with casino money to fund all City Dept and the kids can go to college via the casinos money ..By Tom.. Miamisburg

Yeah, how stupid can Ohio get? Could have had more jobs and more tax revenue in the state, instead we are making our neighbors prosper, while bitching about declining tax revenues and jobs going out of state. Just so dumb! If you against gambling-don’t gamble, but don’t subject all state to your moral principles. People are going to do it no matter what, just we could of had more businesses, more jobs and money in the state.By Dave

How does it seem that every poll on here say ohio wants casinos but somehow it gets voted down? I wonder if the casinos just aren’t paying of the right elected officals.
