Centerville business opens new boutique
CENTERVILLE - Now you can buy a sofa and a slip dress at the same consignment shop.
Home2Home consignment shop, 251 East Alex bell Road, has added a ladies’ clothes boutique called Chic2Chic, owner Kim Passineau said.
The Cross Pointe Shopping Centre shop has sold previously owned furniture since 2004.
It began selling coats late last year and began in March to increase its inventory of women’s clothing.
Wears are sold at 60 percent off of retail value.
Quality and fashion relevancy are key, Passineau said.
“We are only taking in things that look brand new,” she said, noting that her business works with 5,000 consignors.
