Two-headed baby girl threatened by weak heart
In what is being called an extremely rare case, a baby girl was born Tuesday, July 28, with not one, but two heads, according to CBS News.
“Baby Girl Arciaga” was born in Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital in the Philippines with two spines, two brains and two hearts all contained in one body.
Everything else about the child, a victim of dicephaly monozygotic conjoined birth, is normal, an article by the network says.
The child - technically two children- is being threatened by an underdeveloped heart.
“Eventually if one heart fails, the other one will be affected,” said Dr. Ruben Flores, said according to the article.
