Lane Bryant to unveil ‘high-end’ collection for curvy gals
Fashion-forward curvy girls will have a new option beginning Monday, Aug. 31.
Columbus-based Lane Bryant will introduce its first high-end collection.
The icon Collection is inspired by the runways of Paris and Milan, the company says.
No area Lane Bryant will carry the line, but the it will be offered online at lanebryant.com and at Polaris Fashion Place and Easton Town Center in Columbus. Items will range from $68 to $178.
Pieces featured in the icon Collection include harem pants, a cold shoulder blouse and a long, double-placket riding jacket.

LB is already too high priced. With most of the population growing in size and wallets are shrinking, it seems to me a less pricy line would be a great idea. I also agree, get some curvy women to show the clothes!By Plus Top

Options are already limited for quality and taste in Plus size clothing. I would like to see them making better quality clothing that is more flattering and less dowdy. Many of the stores that specialize in Plus Size clothing tend to be expensive to purchase and cheaply made.By Living Large

LB clothes aren’t exactly Wal-Mart prices now. I have seen many items in their stores in or near this price range. Does this mean they are lowering prices on their “regular” line??By reader

I like shopping at Avenue better. Much nicer clothes. Less dowdy.
