108-year-old Dayton man given shout-out on ‘Today’ show

Veteran weatherman Willard Scott gave William “Elvis” Smith of Dayton a very “sweet” shout out during the “Today” show’s happy birthday segment Wednesday, March 31.

Scott said the 108-year-old lives independently, loves watching basketball and makes “the most delicious brownies in town.”

Smith is believed to be one of the oldest people living in Ohio. He celebrated his birthday with family and friends Tuesday, March 30, at The Sanctuary at Wilmington Place in Dayton. What do you think?
