Rachael Ray Show to showcase local community
Rachael Ray proves that she doesn’t just love em’ and leave em.
The Rachael Ray Show will update viewers on how things are going in Wilmington during a segment to air at 12 p.m. Wednesday on WKEF-TV channel 22.
Ray hosted a community Thanksgiving dinner in the struggling town last year and helped its main soup kitchen, Sugartree Ministry Center, get an ‘extreme makeover” from Carter Oosterhouse of HGTV’s “Carter Can.” It’s pantry received a year’s supply of food.
Allen Willoughby and Lori Holcomb from Sugartree Soup Kitchen will appear via Skype video.
On today’s show, Rachael Ray and Sara Lee food company will announce that the soup kitchen’s pantry will be stocked with food for another year.
Wilmington residents were rocked when DHL, that community’s major employer, announced two years ago that it was leaving.

Copied it from Glenn Beck. Although it is kind of her to help out.

Copied or not, other celebrities and multimillionaires should give back to their viewers and the communities that help them rise to stardom. It is better to give, than to receive. Thanks Rachel!

She didn’t copy anything from anyone. Many, many celebrities have have given back. Glen Beck is surely not the first.

Glenn Beck originates everything he does. He was the first to go the bathroom, too. Good for Ray, Carter and the rest for helping out a beleaguered town who didn’t cause its problems.

Funny, there’s no mention of Glenn Beck coming to Wilmington on Dec 15th in the DDN. I wonder why?

You’re ‘right’. There must be a conspiracy. This has nothing to do with Glenn Beck. Get over yourself.
