Sarah Palin heading to region for book signing
A little piece of Alaska is going Krogering.
Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will sign her new book “America By Heart: Reflections on Family, Faith, and Flag, ( (HarperCollins, $26 )” at a Kroger store in suburban Cincinnati 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
The Harper’s Point store, 11390 Montgomery Road, will begin handing out wrist bands for the signing starting at 6 a.m. The store is just north of Interstate 275.
The book must be purchased at the store and a receipt is required.
This is Palin’s only scheduled stop in Ohio.
The best-selling author and reality TV show star has hinted she will run for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012.

I wished that Sarah Palin would just stay in Alaska.

What a waste. Her and her thoughts. A ditzy airhead for sure. Someone who needs to go back to Alaska, fish and tend to her family, staying out of public view and the media. We would be better for it if she did.

Why haven’t people tired of this bag of wind? She spews the same bunch of “lines” everywhere she goes. She says nothing new or original. She says what any uneducated, unthinking, shallow, self-interested person would say. She is misinformed, ignorant, and has a bunch of like-minded people that listen to her and to Glenn Beck. They are secretly laughing all the way to the bank. They don’t care about anyone but themselves. I wouldn’t go near her or a book-signing because the crowd buying her book would be too frightening.

So far all of your negative comments about Sarah Palin are not even valid. She is a breath of fresh air to the stale members of Congress, Senate and President whom can’t even come close to making a decision about we the people. She is a person that does care and has the popularity and knowledge to lead us. What has Obama Head really achieved? Nothing as his speeches are all the same and he designates others to take the blame for his lack of leadership. Our country is in shambles and the only way out is to bring in someone that cares about we the people not personal gain. Wake up America get out of the tunnel vision that you are in.

A Kroger’s? So even Books & Co., which holds signings for every conservative with a book out, is avoiding Palin? As are all the bookstores in Cincinnati? This doesn’t bode well for Palin’s latest literary effort.

Man, you liberals like to whine a lot. Just sayin’… I think Palin would be a better president than Obama. I think most people in their hearts know that. She may not be as eloquent a speaker, but she doesn’t hate our Constitution, and she would clean up our government, which we really need.

Kevin, check out today’s Amazon book sales, Palin is at the top. What facts do you have that says Books & Co declined a signing for Palin?……Liberals with their rose colored glasses, once again quick to point out what they beleive is wrong about the “other side”, but can’t seem to recognize the failures and weaknesses of their own chosen messiah, in spite of ever growing list of mistakes, mistatements, lies, and deceptions….Amazing.

Wondering is afraid of the crowd that would be buying Sarah’s book, really??? I don’t recall hearing of any problems with any of the crowds…and they appear to be diverse, representing main stream Americans. Nothing to be afraid of. If you want something to be afraid of, why don’t you check out the riots in Greece or UK where the communist groups/unions are trying to cause problems. The union bosses here tell us they know where we live, so that’s something to be afraid of, not Sarah Palin’s crowds…Geez. I went to a tea party gathering at Wright State last summer, and all I saw was families with children and old people. Nothing scary there. You can’t believe left wing media because they have an agenda totally opposing main stream America.

Squirrellygirl- a very appropriate name for you if you actually believe Palin has what it takes to be President. Mercy! She would not survive in Washington. No one would listen to her or take her seriously, just as the majority of the general public react to her. I’m guessing most think she is too ignorant and backward to occupy any office in Washington. She presents herself as too “bumpkinish” and would probably be ignored while bringing her ideas to the big time. She’s just not capable as she is and her notoriety is being used temporarily until she is no longer needed.

Exchange “bumpkinish” for “liberal elitist” and She’s still here has just described Obama and the situation he now finds himself. I disagree with Squirrelly Girl about Palin being a viable Presidential candidate, but I respect and agree with most of her views, and find her well read and committed to her beliefs. She can tell you what she believes and why in her own words, which is rare in these posts.

Sarah Palin is hated because is is a beautiful, smart accomplish woman who has achieved all she has without the help of affirmative action, government handouts or the support of NOW… and that makes her very dangerous… illustrating the lies of liberal ideology.

I couldn’t help but notice how slanted the news media has become in favor of democratic or liberal articles. It seems like a comment section is always made available for liberal readers to enjoy making negative, sometimes hateful, responses to conservative articles, such as this one. I couldn’t help but notice though that there was no place for a republican to comment about the Nov 30th article by Justin Coussoule, ‘We get the government we deserve’. That was obviously a “Sour Grape” article by a sore loser. Readers might have wanted to point out that John Boehner didn’t hold a gun on the democratic swing voters that voted for him. This media unfairness seems to have progressed durring and after the 08 elections

Why is everyone who dislikes Palin automatically labeled as a liberal by the right? Can’t one be an independent and not like the woman? Seems we have some narrow-minded, tunnel-vision, biased people on the right as well as the “liberal left”. The word liberal is used in almost any criticizing comment by the conservative right as if liberal is any worse than conservative. Neither party has a monopoly on stupidity, hatred, bias, nor country destruction. Both have their achilles heels. Obama/Reid/Pelosi and company for the left and Bush/Boehner/McConnell/Palin and co for the right. None of them are good for the American people.

Both parties have problems, the Democrats for a long time have followed Saul Alinki’s Rules for Radicals, where they demonize, i.e., make personal attacks against those that disagree with them politically. While both parties have problem people, the democrats for decades have used the politics of personal destruction.

Wow, as per usual the “tolerant, compassionate” liberals can do nothing but spew hate & vitriol towards someone who doesn’t have the same opinions/values they do. It always amuses me how this group always cries about freedom of speech but as soon as someone dares to express a viewpoint differing from theirs they want that person quieted. News flash lefties - freedom of speech works both ways. I am also reminded of the saying I’m sure many of their mothers told them (the ones who didn’t abort them that is): if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.

not surprised: And yet you have nothing to say about the conservative attacks on president Obama. Your selective indignation is noted and laughed at. BTW, if I thought you were sincere about reaching for the smelling salts, I’d point out that internet comment sections aren’t usually good reading for sensitive people precisely because the freedom of speech flies both ways
