Worried the Rapture will happen tomorrow? Services will take care of your pets
Religious scholars around the world have blasted claims by radio evangelist Harold Camping that the world will end tomorrow, Saturday, May 21.
They call the 89-year-old predictions of the Rapture hogwash.
Many people have mocked Camping’s claims. Check out the Facebook event page “Post rapture looting.”
Just in case he has it right, a crop of services are ready to take care of Fido and Fifi.
Eternal Earth-Bound Pets, a service run by atheist, is just one of the businesses lining up to take on the task of caring for pets in the event of the end times.
“We are a group of dedicated animal lovers, and atheists. Each Eternal Earth-Bound Pet representative is a confirmed atheist, and as such will still be here on Earth after you’ve received your reward. Our network of animal activists are committed to step in when you step up to Jesus,” the services website says.
For $135 the services will rescue your pet if the Rapture happens within 10 years of your payment.
After The Rapture Pet Care offers Christan taken to heaven during the Rapture peace of mind.

I’m sure Mr. Camping has something in mind to tell his followers when they wake up Sunday morning and are still here. After more than a few have gave away their things and have qiut their jobs. A slight miscalculation in the figures or something of that nature. I believe he had also said this was going to happen back in 1994. Why people buy into these people and their blatherings is beyond me.

Jesus is coming again, and the unrepentant world, would do well to take heed. Having said that, Mr. Camping is a false prophet. Jesus told us to beware of those who make such predictions. Only the Father knows the Son’s return. And when He returns, it won’t be to whisk Christians away in a pre-trib “rapture”. He is coming to judge the world. And on that day, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. Sadly, for many it will be too late.

G-U-Double-L-I-B-L-E spells GULLIBLE… Ooooh! Scared of the invisible man in the sky, are you? Oh, PLEASE! Superstion at best, even from the “he’s coming some day” crowd. Believeing is far different than KNOWING. You may believe if you want, but you can’t KNOW. Science can be PROVEN; superstition can not. End of story.

I think it is wrong for people who claim to be Christian to seek publicity with this false Rapture date. But then there is Obama in the White House telling the leader in the Holy Land to change the borders back to the way they were in 1967. What right does Obama have to tell this man to give up land and place the remaining part of Israel in danger where they cannot defend themselves? Obama is more of a problem than Israel and the Palestinians. I think Obama should go live with them. Anyway, only God, I am, knows when the last day will be. So man cannot predict. Christ does tell us there will be signs that will come to pass that will indicate the last days so that we might repent. So OBama and the false prophets that tell us dates are wrong. No to OBama 2012!

As a professed Christian, we ought not to bash our leaders but to pray and intercede for them that they may govern wisely and so that we may live peaceful and quiet lives and godliness and holiness.. Yes, our leaders may make wrong decisions at times but it is our true Christians’ duty to honor our leaders through our prayer and civic obedience. That’s what God commanded us to do according to the scripture 1 Timothy 2:1-3

Religious nutjobs have been a feature of human history for as long as there has been human history. This is not a new story, just a another new episode among countless episodes of zany rants. Society would be so much healthier if it would either ignore or show amused contempt for these cynical, money-motivated manipulators. I feel sorry for those lemmings who are manipulated, whether they’re Muslims, Christians, Jews or whatever. Religious whackjobs all too often show themselves to be dangerous, but they’re always contemptible.

Due to a lack of interest, the Rapture has been postponed. A new date will be announced.

Who will announce the next rapture date? Obama? As he asks Israel to make herself defenseless by going back to the 1967 border, he could be telling us about the next tentative rapture date. What about Kenya, Mr. President? Does Kenya need to reduce their size and bring their borders in by miles? God will punish you Mr. President, if you don’t back off of Israel. I plan to vote against you in 2012 and maybe we could go up to the whatever Ward in Chicago and get in another vote against you.

@Mary Bell! What the Governor said Mary was that he wanted everyone in Ohio to watch “Waiting for Superman” so we would think he was the Superman we were waiting for. Of course the Superman we are waiting for is the Messiah…and after almost 2000 years if it isn’t Kasich then what will we do….? My Grandma Julie said, “When Bishop John of Lappa was imprisoned by Pope Vitalian or Pope-V-Italian or Pope Vitaliano, in 666 A.D., that great storms would come…
