Centerville, Kettering, Trotwood youth to get spotlight during telethon
The Children’s Medical Center of Dayton will shine the spotlight on its newest youth ambassadors during the 29th annual broadcast of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Telethon today and Sunday on WHIO-TV (channel 7).
The youth will represent the hospital at events and programs.
The 2011-2012 ambassadors are Colin Beach, 11, of Centerville; Patrick Bleser, 16, of Centerville; Kaitlyn Dove, 12, of Kettering and Ghiman McKinney, 10, of Trotwood.
WHIO-TV’s Cheryl McHenry and Mike Hartsock will host the telethon with K99.1 FM’s Nancy Wilson.
McHenry will celebrates her 25th anniversary of co-hosting the telethon which begins 9 p.m. today and ends at 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Funds raised locally for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals program benefit Dayton Children’s.

Current ambassadors Bailey Allen, Kyle Crawford, Abigail Kurdin and Chardanai White will share their experiences at Dayton Children’s.
