Google “chipotle nutrition calulator” and get ready to be sick. A chicken burrito with the usual fixins has 1,000 calories! An empty Chipotle burrito shell has as many calories as a McDonald’s cheeseburger!

Chipotle is not owned by McDonald’s and it never was. McDonald’s invested in the company and later dropped it, but they never owned it or ran it, ever. And they have absolutely nothing to do with it anymore.

When I first ate food from Chipotle it was fantastic. Now it depends which location you buy from. Miller Lane Chipotle doesn’t give you much for your money. The price did increase and I found myself paying damn near $9 for a burrito bowl. I haven’t eaten there since. This is a popular chain and I’m sure they will continue to do well. I do like the food, but competition is out there now, so I’ll just eat the same thing elsewhere for cheaper. Uhmm, new location, doesn’t bother me; whatever works for them, I wish ‘em the best of luck.

Well complainers you will have to stop eating McDonalds cause they are all owned by the same corporation. So what do you have to say about the Big Mac!

Chipotle was good when they first came to this area. The burritos where full. The prices went up and you get less food.

To read folks, If you knew anything about this you would know that they did build a new location. Do your homework.

dd: They said they MOVED. They didn’t say they built a new restaurant from the same chain within a mile of the other! to david k: It’s news because some people might have driven to the old one just to find it “closed” in this economy. Good to know it’s just moved!

How is this NOT news? A local business that performs quite well has relocated to a ‘new’(s) location with improved parking, so the local newspaper put up a story. When Starbucks/ Brueggers/ some random crafts shop wants a nice location near a major intersection, they won’t have to build a new building… Why do readers ask so often, “Why is this news?” It is news to me, and DDN is where I get a portion of my local news. It’s not like this takes up precious space in the paper, it takes 10 minutes to write this up, throw it on the webpage, and forget about it.

Didn’t the original location just go through a “burritofication” not to long ago? Maybe somebody wasn’t thinking ahead.

Great store inside. The parking is much improved - it could not have been worse at the old location. Same great food.

Why do we need another Chipotle within blocks of the old one? The old one was just fine. Great another bulding to set empty and become an eye sore.
