Tonight’s the last night for Barbie’s Bistro

Barbie’s Bistro at 1122 E. Dorothy Lane in Kettering will be open tonight, May 3, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. — the restaurant’s final night of operation, owner Barbie Marks said today.

“It really breaks my heart to close the doors,” Marks said on April 20, when she announced her intention to close the restaurant due to lack of business.

The restaurant opened in June 2008. Marks said she has begun a new job at the Hope Hotel at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
