New Centerville restaurant to open Saturday, offer discount

CENTERVILLE — The House of Kabab restaurant that we mentioned back in August is scheduled to open this Saturday, Oct. 30, at 298 N. Main St. (Ohio 48).

All menu items will be 30 percent off on opening day, restaurant owner George Ephrem said.

The House of Kabab will offer Mediterranean-style appetizers, soups, salads, pita sandwiches, platters and desserts, available for dine-in or carryout. The restaurant will seat about 50, and there are plans to construct a patio early next year that will add outdoor seating, Ephrem said. The location is the former Johnny’s Slice of New York Pizzeria.

The restaurant will open with eight employees.

The House of Kabab will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call (937) 424-9262.
