New downtown Dayton restaurant plans grand opening
The new restaurant called De’Lish at 139 N. Main St., across from the Victoria Theater in downtown Dayton that we first told you about in September is planning a grand opening for Dec. 3, the Downtown Dayton Partnership announced today, Nov. 24.
The event, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., will include samples from De’Lish’s menu and entertainment, the partnership said. The menu will include “small plates,” burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, salads and soups. Breakfast items will include fruit cups, yogurt cups, and pastries.
The new restaurant is owned by Tawana Knight and Jasmine Brown. De’Lish is planning special deals for Dec. 6 and Dec. 7 for employees of downtown Dayton businesses, the partnership said.
Hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, 7 a.m. to midnight (kitchen closed from 3-5 p.m.) on Wednesday and Thursday, 7 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. (kitchen closed late afternoon) on Friday, 2 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m. to midnight Sunday.
