2nd Street Market gets into a Mardi Gras mood
We’ll detail some Mardi Gras special events in this Friday’s Go section of the Dayton Daily News, but the following news release from Metroparks’ Val Hunt Beerbower came in just a bit too late to include in that story. Here’s what she had to say:
The PNC 2nd Street Market is having a bit of an early celebration for Mardi Gras. This week, March 3, 4 and 5, several Market vendors will offer themed menu options for patrons to get a jump start on next week’s Fat Tuesday celebrations. The Market is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.
Vendors’ special offerings for Mardi Gras
— All Mixed Up will sample and have on sale their Louisiana-style Red Beans and Rice Mix on Saturday, March 5. They will also have featured cocktail mixes.
