Hot & steamy wine tastings
I’m back from a nine-day odyssey in the West, which included a trip through one of the best wine-country regions you’ve never heard of (more about that later), a rollicking earthquake two days ago in California (scared the bee-JEE-zus out of this excitable Ohioan), and one 116-degree day in Phoenix last week (“dry heat” my foot).
But NOWHERE did I find a wine-tastings-and-events list that even REMOTELY compares to this one, and for that we thank the Dayton-based wine listserv that compiles it, the wine shops and restaurants that organize the events, and YOU, who attend, enjoy and sustain these tastings and dinners.
It’s a beautiful thing. And it’s great to be home.
