If wild horses couldn’t drag you to a wine dinner, perhaps Wild Horse can
WASHINGTON TWP., Montgomery County — Carvers Steaks & Chops, 1535 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, will host a wine dinner featuring the wines of Wild Horse Winery & Vineyards and featuring Wild Horse winemaker Clay Brock at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 6.
Wild Horse wines to be tasted include 2008 Central Coast Chardonnay, 2008 “Unbridled” Chardonnay, 2009 Paso Robles Merlot, 2009 Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2010 Central Coast Pinot Noir.
The menu from Carvers Chef William Pence includes Fresh Jumbo Lump Crab Meat with Cucumber Relish, Bacon and Horseradish; Scottish Salmon poached with Thyme, White Wine, Olive Oil, and Lemon Juice with Romaine Lettuce, Goat Cheese and Pecans; Beef Tenderloin with Choron Sauce (Hollandaise with fresh Tomato Paste) with Roasted Fingerling Potatoes, Carrots and Rosemary; and Fresh Mixed Berry Crostada with House Made Vanilla Sauce.
