DAYTON — The State Controlling Board approved a $30,000 grant to help partially defray Cintas Corp.’s costs of renovating office space for an expansion at its 903 Brandt St. operations in Dayton.
Cintas has already completed the $500,000 renovation and is hiring employees there, company spokeswoman Heather Maley said Tuesday, March 23.
The company could add 150 jobs there within three years, including people who have already been hired, Maley said. She declined to say how many have been hired.
State Rep. Peggy Lehner, R-Kettering, said the hiring would include about 100 new full-time jobs with hourly wages of $13.95.
Cintas directs job applicants to its Web site at www.Cintas.com/careers.
Cintas inherited the Brandt Street location when it bought the uniform rental company Van Dyne Crotty Inc. in 2006. Cintas, based in Cincinnati, also employs about 100 people in Vandalia.
The Brandt Street location houses financial services, first-aid and safety, and document shredding operations for Cintas, Maley said.
