The Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved state incentives for several Dayton-area projects Monday, including one to draw jobs to Centerville from a company in East Syracuse, N.Y.
Aeroseal LLC received a 40-percent, six-year credit for $1.4 million in new payroll, or 40 full-time jobs, in Centerville.
Aeroseal offers a process that seals cracks and gaps in residential and commercial building air duct systems, according to Greg Woods, a spokesman for the authority in Columbus.
Other projects approved Monday include:
• A 35-percent, five-year credit for Beta LaserMike Inc. to locate 13 full-time employees in Dayton.
• A 35-percent, five-year credit to Hohman Plating and Manufacturing in Dayton, for $700,000 in additional payroll, or 25 full-time jobs.
• A 40 percent, five-year credit to Invotec Engineering in Springboro, for $1.2 million in additional payroll, or 28 full-time jobs.
• A 45-percent, six-year credit to Ahresty Wilmington Corp., in Wilmington, for $1.2 million in additional payroll, or 43 full-time jobs.
