Asian restaurant reopens in Washington Twp.

WASHINGTON TWP., Montgomery County — The Golden Dragon Buffet at 1136 Miamisburg-Centerville Road (Ohio 725) will celebrate a grand reopening Friday, Jan. 18.

The restaurant has been closed since early 2012 and underwent renovations that seemed to stall and re-start a few times last year. But in an advertisement in today’s Dayton Daily News, the restaurant announced it is reopening under new management and will allow the first 100 customers on Friday to eat free.

Ryan Lee, zoning and development manager for Washington Twp., said he was glad to see the property’s owners regroup and reopen.

“We’re glad to retain them at that location,” Lee said. “It helps with the life and the vibrancy of the 725 corridor.”

Sushi and hibachi items are available in addition to the buffet items, and the restaurant also has a banquet room that accommodates 20 to 30 people. Golden Dragon offers a lunch buffet and a dinner buffet Monday through Saturday, and a dinner buffet is offered all day on Sunday. For more information, call (937) 291-1112.
