BBB offers finances lunch

The Better Business Bureau Center For Business & Consumer Ethics will have a “Military Line Lunch And Learn” series event from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 24 at the Wright State University Student Union Endeavor Room.

Topics will include effective budgeting, money management and use of credit.

There’s no cost to attend.

“It’s the perfect event for military-affiliated individuals,” the bureau said in a release. “It will answer financial questions, such as: What’s the best way to use credit to maximize your credit score? How long will it take you to pay off a credit card if you only pay the minimum payments? Why should you have a budget that includes contributing to an emergency fund or future saving?”

Jennifer Bozue of WesBanco Bank, Inc. will be on hand to answer questions.

To attend, those interested are asked to register at www.bbb.org/dayton/cbce/military-line.
