Bon-Ton Stores said Monday, Oct. 26, it expects its third quarter and full-year results to hit the high side of previous earnings forecasts.

The York, Pa.-based retailer in a news release said it based its outlook on “favorable trends” in sales for October and the third quarter. Bon-Ton operates in the Dayton area under the Elder-Beerman Stores Corp. nameplate.

Bon-Ton operates 279 stores in 23 states under the Bon-Ton, Bergner’s, Boston Store, Carson Pirie Scott, Elder-Beerman, Harberger’s, Younkers and Parisian nameplates.
