Bridal gowns, light fixtures and more than 50 wedding related Internet domain names are among the items being sold by the court-appointed receiver assigned to close a Centerville bridal salon.

David Kebrdle of Chikol Equities said Bridal-N-Tux at 705 Lyons Road will shut its doors for good Aug. 31 and a report will be prepared for Montgomery County Common Pleas Judge Michael Tucker on the closing.

Kebrdle did not have an exact figure on the number of brides affected by the shops abrupt closing last month, but he said workers have assisted a “ton” of brides in either finding replacement gowns or the gowns they order.

Brides who did not receive their merchandise or refunds from credit card companies will be placed on a priority list, he said.

“Some brides are going to have to wait for refunds until everything is sold,” he said, noting the shop’s inventory of gowns is substantial.

Bridal gowns are being sold for as much as 70 percent off, he said. The store will be open noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. Sunday sales are by appointment.

Judge Tucker appointed Kebrdle receiver for the company July 20 after an owner requested he shop’s parent company, Int’l Bridal LLC, be wound down.

Tucker also is presiding over a breach of contract and improper termination lawsuit filed by Jill and Yaser Aldineh of Dayton concerning the company and operations of Madison Avenue Bridal in Covington, Ky.

Jill Aldineh founded Int’l Bridal with Scott Wells of Cincinnati and Alvin Short of Miramar Beach, Fla., according to court documents.

Wells, Short and Ani Cole of Cincinnati are listed as defendants in the lawsuit.

Wells told the Dayton Daily News his online bridal gown business, www.RomanticGowns.com, brought in $7 million in sales annually. Bridal-n-Tux opened in March 2010.
