DAYTON — CareSource, a Dayton-based managed care company, has promoted Jonas Thom, director of behavior health, to vice president of community programs within the Health Services department. He will be responsible for CareSource’s community outreach programs, including the new community-based model that employs Patient Navigators to better manage their high-risk members.
Thom has more than 20 years of experience in behavioral health outpatient therapy and case management, CareSource said. Before coming to CareSource in 2010, he was the director of the Ohio Coordinating Centers for Integrating Care and the Ohio Coordinating Centers for Assertive Community Treatment (ACT).
