Choo named interim CEO at Wilmington hospital

WILMINGTON — Dr. Michael Choo has been appointed interim president and CEO of CMH Regional Health System.
The current president and CEO, Andy Riddell, will retire Dec. 17 after nearly six years at CMH.
Choo, who has served as chief medical officer, officially starts his new role Dec. 1.
Choo also has been the medical director of Dayton Heart and Vascular Hospital’s Heart Emergency Center since 1999.
The board also hopes to make a recommendation to Clinton County commissioners in mid-December in regards to affiliating the county-owned hospital system with another hospital network.
