The Blue Green Alliance and Repower Ohio will visit the IUE-CWA Local 775 hall Monday, Aug. 31, the alliance said.

The visit is part of a “statewide Made in America jobs tour meant to “highlight the benefits to Ohio workers and businesses of transitioning to a clean energy economy,” the alliance said in an announcement.

“Ohio workers and their families have been hit hard by the economic downturn, but we can create good jobs with good wages for today’s workers right here in Ohio, right here in America, by investing in a clean energy economy,” Bryan McGannon, Repower Ohio’s state director, said in a statement.

The hall is located at 1675 Woodman Drive, Dayton. On hand will be Shawn Grimes, International Union of Electronic Workers member and an employee at the Springboro Cobasys plant; Wes Wells, executive director of the Miami Valley Central Labor Council, and others.
