A Columbus commercial real estate firm is moving its two Dayton-area agents from Miamisburg to a downtown Dayton office, a spokeswoman for the company said Friday.

Equity Inc. will close if 9240-B Market Place Drive office, its home locally for more than two years, and will move its agents next month to 11 W. Monument Ave., said Morgan Augur, an Equity spokeswoman.

The company wants to move its agents to a “more central location with better coverage in the market,” Augur said.

The new office will have more than 1,400 square feet, up from the 1,000 square feet it has today at the current location, with room for hiring another three agents, Augur said. She could not say when those three additional agents will be hired.

Equity offers commercial real estate sales and leasing services, with an emphasis on the health care and retail markets. It also has offices in Cincinnati, Orlando, Fla., San Antonio, Texas and elsewhere.
