DAYTON — Job hunters will be able to use a laptop computer and cell phone for free at area Cricket Communications stores under a program unveiled today, Nov. 13.
The “Phones to Help Job Hunters” program is a cooperative effort between Cricket Communications and the Montgomery County Department of Job and Family Services. The goal is to provide easily accessible and free help for those needing help finding work.
The program will make job search tools more accessible, said Montgomery County Commission President Dan Foley.
“In today’s economy, people are having to make tough choices about what services they can and cannot afford,” he said.
Montgomery County’s Job Center also offers an array of free services to job hunters, including access to computers and a job bank. The Job Center is located at 1111 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd.
For more information about the new Cricket program or Job Center services call Montgomery County’s Job Center at 225-JOBS.
