Certified Nurse Midwives Darla Baker and Andrea Carr have joined Kettering Physician Network Women's Health in Beavercreek and Xenia.

Baker and Carr have privileges at Soin Medical Center, where they can provide natural birth experiences as well as pharmacologic pain management. They provide full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care for women from puberty through menopause, including well-woman gynecologic care, family planning consultations and contraception, pre-conception counseling, and pregnancy and childbirth care.

Baker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Master of Science degree in midwifery from Philadelphia University.

Carr graduated cum laude from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She earned a Master of Science degree in midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Ky.

Baker and Carr are seeing patients at the following Kettering Physician Network Women’s Health locations:

Kolnicki joins firm

Coolidge Wall Co. has announced that Shari A. Kolnicki has joined the firm as an attorney in its Tax Department.

Kolnicki’s practice will focus on the areas of tax controversies/disputes, general tax matters, and tax-exempt organizations. She is a former Revenue Agent and Appeals Officer with the IRS, having worked in the Tax-Exempt and Government Entities area and on various appeals. Also, she managed teams in Kentucky and Ohio.

Kolnicki began her career at Deloitte as a tax staff consultant assisting with mergers and acquisitions, employment and compliance issues. She has also served as an evaluator for the United States Government Accountability Office and is currently serving on the Board of Tax Review for the City of Montgomery.

Kolnicki has a J.D., magna cum laude, from Capital University Law School in Columbus and received her M.B.A. from The Ohio State University. She is a member of both the Ohio State Bar and Cincinnati Bar Associations, and served as a volunteer attorney for the Pro Bono Partnership of Ohio.

Stocksdale promoted at AssuredPartners

AssuredPartners NL has announced the promotion of Todd Stocksdale, Chief Operating Officer to an expanded role as President of AssuredPartners NL and Regional President for AssuredPartners, Inc., effective immediately. Stocksdale has proven his leadership abilities and will now take on corporate and regional responsibilities.

As the president of AssuredPartners NL, Stocksdale will oversee strategic growth, and expansion of the company while maintaining the day-to-day operations of the AssuredPartners NL platform for the Kentucky, Southern Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana regions. He brings more than 25 years of insurance experience and has held positions at AssuredPartners NL with increasing responsibility, including senior account executive, senior vice president, vice president of sales and marketing, managing director, Southern regional director and COO.

Stocksdale holds his Property Risk Insurance Specialist and Certified Workers Compensation Counselor insurance designations.
