The Ohlmann Group has selected award-winning designer Roxann Patrick to join its Dayton-based marketing agency. Patrick will be the firm's new Director, Client Engagement, reporting to David Bowman, the agency's President.

Patrick has over 30 years of experience in advertising and graphic design. Most recently, she held the position of Director of Career Services for the School of Advertising Art. She was the Creative Director and President of Designed Solutions Group, Inc. for 20 years. She also founded Little Dirty Birdy Feet, LLC, a brand consultancy, which she owned and operated successfully for three years.

Patrick’s exemplary design skills and creative leadership expertise have been recognized with over 100 awards throughout her career, including honors from the Addy’s, DMA and Graphic Design USA, and sponsored competitions by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, the New York Times and Cox Newspapers.

Reed hired at Frisch’s

Frisch's Big Boy Restaurants has hired Diane Reed as executive vice president of finance, effective Nov. 16.

Reed has been with Bravo Restaurant Group since 2007, serving as vice president of finance and chief accounting officer. Her main areas of responsibility include treasury, SEC and internal reporting, taxes, risk management, strategic planning, lease and fixed-asset management, benefits and equity programs.

Reed is a certified public accountant (CPA) and certified cash manager (CCM) who has served as controller for Wendy’s, Donatos Pizza and Victoria’s Secret. She also was vice president for compensation and benefits and CFO of Gates McDonald as part of Nationwide Insurance Companies.

Fuller hired as accreditation manager

Sandy Riege Fuller has begun her new position as Accreditation Manager for Trotwood Fire & Rescue, working with Lt. Jeffrey Hilvers, as the City of Trotwood seeks CPSE Accreditation for the department. Her offices will be located at the Trotwood Fire & Rescue Administration Offices at 4 Strader Drive. Riege Fuller will also serve in the capacity of being a backup for the clerk duties.

“The role that she is being appointed to will become increasingly important as we proceed through the CPSE Accreditation process,” said City Manager Quincy E. Pope, Sr.

The accreditation process is expected to be a duration of five years before the department is ready for a CPSE assessment to lead to accreditation. Trotwood Fire & Rescue is currently an applicant agency for CPSE Accreditation.

David Young will continue in his assignment as Deputy Clerk to Council, and will be the primary point of contact for City Council’s agenda, scheduling and Legistar materials for City Council meetings.
