Stratacache has installed its 10,000th digital menu board in the quick service restaurant (QSR) industry, the Dayton-based company said Monday, July 19.
In addition to traditional menu boards, four North American QSR systems are powering their digital menu board initiatives with Stratacache’s “ActiVia for QSR” digital sign software, the company said. These digital boards are “eliminating recurring printing costs, generating significant incremental revenue and enhancing the customer experience,” the company said.
During a recent two-week period, one Stratacache customer saw a 53 percent increase in sales for an item promoted on its digital menu board, compared to the previous week when the item was not featured. Another customer recorded a 427 percent increase in sales of a new product in digital stores versus a group of control stores using traditional, static menu boards.
Privately held Stratacache offers digital signage, Internet Protocol video, content distribution and other technologies.
